Specialty Paper

Specialty paper covers the sheets and rolls you reach for when plain white copy paper will not do the job, from colour-coded handouts to point-of-sale receipts and glossy photographs. This overview frames the subcategories beneath it: colour paper for brightening presentations and organising files, paper rolls for plotters, tills and wrapping, photo paper for crisp images and marketing materials, and thermal receipt rolls for POS terminals and cash registers. Because each of these serves a distinct purpose, the right choice depends on the machine and the finish you need rather than on weight and brightness alone, so it pays to read the specific guidance in each subcategory before ordering. A few principles run through them all. Check that the stock is rated for your equipment, whether that is a laser printer, an inkjet, a wide-format plotter or a thermal printer, since the wrong coating or core can jam a machine or fade within weeks. Storage matters too in Lagos conditions, as heat and humidity can curl sheets and dull thermal and photo coatings, so keep specialty stock sealed until use.
