Photo Paper

Photo paper produces the sharp, colour-rich prints that plain paper simply cannot, making it essential for ID photos, marketing materials, certificates, product shots and presentation inserts. This category covers glossy, satin and matte finishes across common sizes, with glossy giving vivid colours and deep contrast for photographs, satin offering a softer sheen that resists fingerprints, and matte suited to text-heavy or framed prints where reflections are a nuisance. The most important check is compatibility: inkjet photo paper has a coating made for inkjet dyes and pigments, while laser photo stock is built to withstand toner and fuser heat, and using the wrong type gives smudged or poorly bonded results, so confirm which your printer uses before ordering. Weight, measured in gsm, signals sturdiness, with heavier sheets feeling more premium and lying flatter for display and handouts. Because photo coatings are sensitive, store the paper sealed and flat away from heat and Lagos humidity, and let prints dry fully before stacking so images do not stick.
