Video Doorbells
A video doorbell answers one narrow question - who is at the entrance - and answers it from a phone, which is why it suits a reception with no permanent attendant, a small office, a clinic, or a gate that is not manned overnight.
It is not a substitute for CCTV and we would rather say that at the quote stage. It covers one approach, records only when triggered, and stores footage either on a small local card or on a subscription. For a site that needs a continuous record, this is an addition to a recorder, not a replacement for one.
Power is the practical constraint. Battery units install anywhere and need charging every few months, which somebody has to remember. Wired units need a supply at the door, and in most Nigerian buildings that means running one. Wired is the right answer for anything that matters, because a doorbell with a flat battery is a doorbell that was not there.
Connectivity is the other. These depend on the building's internet, and the video is only as reliable as the link. On a shared or intermittent connection, a unit that records locally as well as to the cloud is worth the difference.
Tell us the entrance, the power available and the network, and we will specify accordingly.
