Control for air conditioning, which in most Nigerian offices is the largest electrical load in the building and the one least managed.

The saving is not in clever optimisation. It is in units that stop running in empty rooms and units that stop being set to 16 °C because somebody wanted the room cool faster - a setting that does not cool faster and does run the compressor continuously. Scheduling and a sensible setpoint range recover more than any algorithm.

Most existing split units can be brought under control with an infrared controller that learns the remote, which avoids replacing working equipment. It is a one-way arrangement - the controller knows what it last sent, not what the unit is actually doing - so pairing it with a temperature sensor in the room is what makes it trustworthy.

Where units are being replaced anyway, models with a network interface report their real state and are worth the small premium for anything you intend to manage centrally.

Central plant, VRF systems and anything with a building management system are a different conversation and need the existing controls documented before we can quote sensibly.
