Fitness Trackers
Trackers are bought in quantity for staff wellness schemes far more often than they are bought singly, and the scheme is what should drive the choice.
A band is usually the better purchase than a watch here. It costs a fraction as much, runs for a week or two between charges, survives being worn during real work, and does the one thing a wellness programme needs - counting activity. The features that justify a watch are mostly features a wellness scheme does not use.
Participation decides whether the money was worth spending, and participation collapses when devices need frequent charging, when the app requires an account nobody wants to create, or when staff suspect their employer is watching. Choose for battery life and a low-friction setup, and say clearly at launch who can see what. In practice the honest and effective answer is nobody.
Sizing catches organisations out on bulk orders. Straps come in ranges and one size does not fit a whole workforce; order a spread or a model with an adjustable strap.
Water resistance is worth having even where nobody intends to swim, because hand-washing and rain are what actually kill these.
