Surveillance is bought as a camera count and lived with as a recording problem. Sixteen cameras that overwrite after four days do not answer the question somebody eventually asks them, and that is a storage and bandwidth decision made at the point of specification rather than something to be fixed later.

We supply IP and analogue CCTV, recorders and storage, video doorbells, access control from single-door readers up to multi-site systems, and alarm and sensor hardware. Cable, power over Ethernet, mounting and the recorder are quoted with the cameras - a quote that lists only cameras is a quote that will grow.

Specify by what you need to be able to prove: a face at a gate, a plate at a barrier, movement across a yard. Each of those implies a different resolution, lens and mounting height, and getting it wrong is expensive in a way that is only discovered when the footage is needed.

Access control also carries an administrative cost most buyers underestimate - somebody has to enrol staff, revoke leavers and hold the audit trail. Ask us about that before choosing a system, not after.
